About the Journal
The Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) Papers are a new addition to the TCDL conference proceedings this year. They are an optional add-on for presentations, panels, lightning talks, and posters. If you choose the short paper option, in addition to presenting at the conference, you will submit a written paper based on your presentation content. That paper will undergo a full peer review and be published digitally in the TCDL 2026 Conference Proceedings.
Our hope is that the short paper option will give presenters an additional way to share your research and experience, in a different and highly-valued format. Since this is a new part of TCDL, we are considering the short paper format in “beta” this year, and we appreciate your patience as we develop the process this spring.
